In Instituto Hemingway, we always stay updated with new publications launched by editorials in the market. In this occasion we would like to speak about one of the latest releases.
This editorial, with big tradition in creating materials for teaching-learning Spanish as a foreign language, makes us more powerful than ever with its collection of graduate readings, which we can find now in this new website.
There, you can find more than 70 titles of different collections of graduate readings. They include various issues. For example you can find biographies of famous people of Spanish scene such as Lorca or Picasso or even more current ones such as Messi. You can also find a wide collection of stories.
The idea of graduate readings, is something more than their specific use in class as a complement and as a method to achieve contact with Spanish language outside the class. They are also a good alternative for students to become familiar with the Spanish culture and most of all to reinforce and consolidate their Spanish.
And in some occasions, they can have space within the classroom , as starting point for a theme or even within a sequence of activities, provided that the teacher selects and contextualize the material.
We hope that our suggestions will be interesting for you; either you are a Spanish teacher or a Spanish student.
