Opening your mind to new realities through teaching and learning languages

I think that all of the world’s languages are beautiful, and that each of them deserves to be taught, learned and respected.
Out of all the languages, I’ve only managed to learn three: Catalan, Spanish and English. The first two are part of me, the theird has been the result of many years of studying, various periods spent living in the UK and a great deal of reading. I love travelling, getting to know other cultures and meeting people from different places.
Languages broaden your thinking: they allow you to understand new realities and they let you into a new cultural universe – it’s so great to be able to read books in their original language and not to have to wait for them to be translated into your own language!

Learning to teach Spanish, one of my native languages, has been a great experience for me. I would love to be able to spend my life bringing our beautiful language to others. For me, languages really are the best thing in the world, and I enjoy teaching too (I’ve taught in other fields for the last five years). I hope that I am able to become an excellent Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher.
