The Spanish language keeps going further.
Recently Singapore has included the Spanish language in its educational system and in that way, since 2012 students of secondary education (12 - 17 years old) have the possibility to study Spanish as third language.
And apart from that, from 2018 Spanish will be included in the courses which are offered for teaching at junior colleges.
At that moment, the relations between Spain and Singapore have increased and the links are getting narrower. This is the result of an agreement on cultural cooperation, education and science, signed between Spain and Singapore in April of 2011 which responds to the growing demand for Spanish classes in the country both by students and professionals.
So we have again good news for Spanish language and for all those who work in the ELE world. Apparently, there are new professional opportunities coming, both for those who have been teaching Spanish for years and those who are planning to start learning and teaching Spanish.
In Instituto Hemingway,we love receiving people from both categories so we continue offering a wide range of Spanish courses, such as training courses for Spanish teachers, so that we continue sharing this language. Now, in better health than ever but above all in a nice way!
