From music teacher to Spanish teacher
Hello everyone!
My name is Amanda and in my case I have at last (I say at last as I have wanted to do it for years) begun the journey to teaching Spanish which is one of my personal desires and objectives
I have been a music school teacher for years so my training, other than in music, has been in the humanities. Life has now given me more free time and I decided, out of pure interest, to start to train in teaching my native language due to my desire to teach it and share it and because it will help me to work and travel which I greatly enjoy.
In fact, this course has helped me in job interviews and to volunteer in Asia last December.
I think that the course is very efficient, it requires you to keep going, research on your own, and get to know the methodologies, books, etc.
What has been most rewarding for me has been the final project because, although we do teaching programmes and projects at the music school, ELE´s method is different and it has introduced me to many books, interesting blogs, and new activities. Overall, I recommend the course and it is worth the effort. I will now continue training and looking for work.
Thank you Alfredo for all your help!
