Spanish Courses in Bilbao and wine tasting, 5th of August 2014

A wine tasting activity has been arranged for all of Instituto Hemingway´s students on the 5th of August at 19:00. Each month, leisure and cultural activities are offered for all of the institute´s students.

This is an opportunity for the students doing the Spanish course to get to know the city, learn more about the Spanish culture and put into practice the Spanish they learned in class.

All students taking the Spanish courses are invited to take part in this activity on the 5th of August which is all about learning about wine tasting.

This time, we are going to focus on white wines. First, we will start by learning everything about the winemaking process and then we will continue with the tasting techniques. This is also a good way for the students to learn new Spanish words and to test their ability to detect the wines´ aromas.

So, let’s take a look at the wines we are going to try on Tuesday, 5th of August:
- Isabelino de Bodegas Reina de Castilla, a wine denomination of Rueda origin, made in 2013, Verdejo variety grapes.
-Rey Zagal de Bodegas Al Zagal, a wine denomination of Granada origin, made in 2013, with grapes from Sauvignon Blanc.
- Via della Rugiada, an italian wine from Venice, made in 2012, from the variety of Pinor Grigio.
