Not only is there the Guggenheim Museum with different exhibitions of modern art and symbols of the city such as the dog "Puppy" and the gigantic spider "Mamá", but you can also discover the Fine Arts Museum. At this museum you will find a huge collection and very interesting temporary exhibitions.
Until January you can enjoy a very interesting exhibition on Hyperrealism from 1967-2013; Hyperrealism is a form of painting which fascinates many people through its incredible technical presicion. The 68 works displayed constitute a great retrospective of this type of art, principally from American artists whose paintings document the "American way of life".
You will also discover other European artists who paint incredible urban panoramas.
In the Bilbao Fine Art Museum you will also find the works of modern Spanish artists from different generations and styles that form part of Madrid´s Prado museum exhibited until January.
