We visited the Museo de Bellas Artes of Bilbao with the students of Spanish
Every afternoon, we plan free activities for tyhe students who attend the Spanish courses. In this occasion we went to the Museo de Bellas Artes of Bilbao.
We like culture; we are addicted to cultura and art. Art can be conceived as a door to another world, that takes us to another planet where creativity and imagination appear in the air and the impossibility of being himself comes to life.
In the Instituto Hemingway we think in all these dimensions that the art can offer us and we want that our students can learn something from every area. This week we've been in the Museo de Bellas Artes. The expositions have been very interesting and cover several ages; We can admire national local painters' works, very renowned and known worldwide like Sorolla or Paul Gauguin. There was also a room with a Japanese art exposition and a whole floor with cpntemporary art works. As you can see, the Museo de Bellas Artes is very different and anyone can find what they like.
We like to combine our cultural activities with leisure ones, related with the atmosphere of the town. So we have planned a tour of pinxtos every friday. The tour of tapas that we plan with our students of Spanish courses each friday are a perfect occasion to close the week and a good start of the weekend. We would like to invite you to spend a nice time with us, relax and at the same time learn more about life and the Spanish culture.
We wish you a good weekend and we hope to see you today at the tour of tapas ;-) !
