Tony Allen's jazz concert, “el black president de Afrobeat” with our spanish course

Yesterday has been a great day. Finally the most awaited day of the month arrived, the day of the jazz concert . The concert took place in The Teatro de Campos Eliseos , a wonderful place and much to our surprise, it has been special for the singer Tony Allen aswell. He told us that this was his first time playing in a theatre. The place itself has a special atmosphere and imagine how amazing it was when the musicians got on stage and started to play. It has been astonishing, exactly how El Pais described it, full of fresh and nourishing sounds of this experimental afrobeat of the XXI century.

Apart from good music , Tony Allen shared with the public its philosophy of life, telling us that we have to live it, that life is like a film, full of feelings surprises and theatre scenes.

And we were glad to enjoy this show thanks to the Spanish classes and their afternoon activities.

And guess what we'll do on the 31st of March? There will be another concert, this time Manu Katché will play, another jazzman, this time from France.

We hope you'll have a great time like yesterday and with the presence of our students of Spanish in Bilbao it will always be great.
