Wine Tasting this Thursday

On Thursday we will have wine tasting, a popular event for our students. Guiding it will be, as always, our resident wine connoisseur, Alfredo!

We will be presented with an array of red wines, giving us the opportunity to compare the bodies and flavours of various types. We will try a selection of Crianzas, Reservas and Gran Reservas, all of which are usually from Spain. Luckily, the Basque Country is just north of La Rioja, a famous winemaking region! As well as from here, we routinely sample wine from Galicia, Castile-La Mancha and other regions.

Every time, Alfredo provides an engaging lesson in the art of winemaking in Spain. Moreover, we will get to know the 3 phases of wine tasting: the appearance, the aroma and, most importantly, the flavour!
In summary, wine tasting is a great way to make new friends, have fun and find out more about wines.
