1 Day Mix and Match Spanish/Activity Courses

As part of our selection of flexible Spanish courses, we would like to unveil a course through which you can enjoy a Spanish lesson in the morning combined with an exciting activity in the afternoon, based entirely on your preferences.

This course is designed specifically for those who are travelling around Spain or Europe that will spend a few days or a weekend in Bilbao, but still want to experience the cultural life of one of the most vibrant cities in Spain.

The structure:

Between 9:30 and 11:30 in the morning you will have a Spanish class that can be tailored to any level, from A1 to C2. We provide all teaching materials, as well expert teaching in an open and friendly environment.
With the activity, you have a range of possibilities. Overall, the most popular choices tend to be a culinary class, wine tasting session, flamenco lesson or guided tour of the Way of Saint James; detailed below:

1) A culinary class would consist of 2 hours of cooking with one of our bilingual chefs, creating 3 fabulous traditional Spanish or Basque dishes. All of the ingredients and equipment is included. Afterwards, you can eat everything you have made!

2) Wine tasting with us is always fun and informative. The session is led by our wine expert Alfredo. You will taste a selection of local wines, whilst learning about the process of wine production in Spain, as well as the grape variants and the effect of the earth and weather on the grapes.

The sessions normally last around 2 hours.

3) We also offer flamenco lessons with our dance instructor, who has 20 years of experience. During a 90 minute lesson you will have fun in a relaxed environment. We can offer lessons for people of all levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.

4) Lastly, we give guided tours of the Way of Saint James, in Spanish and English. These walks encapsulate much of what the Basque Country has to offer in terms of nature and architecture. Transport to all areas in the province of Biscay comes included, as well as maps.
