Beach Trip: A fun leisure activity for our students

On Thursday the 26th of May we will visit one of the beautiful beaches in the vicinity of Bilbao. We will enjoy the sun at a beach near to Neguri, in the attractive district of Getxo, where you will come across places preserved by UNESCO as world heritage sites.

We believe that our leisure and cultural activities provide an excellent insight into what this area offers, as well as providing students with a great opportunity to get to know people from other classes. Bilbao and its surroundings offer a beautiful natural environment, from picturesque mountains to beautiful beaches. Also, visitors can enjoy a magnificent gastronomy, excellent museums, a dynamic nightlife and a rich culture which includes theatre, concerts, music and festivals.

The activities that we organise daily are one of the factors which makes our school distinct and special. We encourage a friendly, fun environment in our classrooms, which is also reflected in our free activities.

The beaches in Bilbao´s surrounding area are perfect for surfing. In fact, one of our most popular courses combines Spanish classes with surfing lessons.

The beach that is near to Neguri is more relaxed, with calm waves and a selection of bars. The weather forecast has informed us that it will be 24 degrees Celsius; the perfect temperature to enjoy the sun and a cold drink on the Basque coast.
