Learn Spanish and discover Bilbao with us this November

Welcome to Bilbao! Would you like to get to know the city? Would you like to discover the Basque culture? Are you interested in getting to know the culture and traditions better? Well with our school you will get the chance to learn more about the Spanish language and culture.

We offer exactly what you need and we organise afternoon activities according to your likes and interest. There’s a reason why we’re the only language school in Bilbao with almost 20 years of experience. What have we prepared for you for the month of November 2016?

The first week will be very varied. To start off well we have organised Spanish cooking classes where you will learn to cook Spanish tortilla, our students’ favourite dish. We are frequently being asked how to prepare them and therefore we have decided to include these lessons into our cultural activities. And so we don’t feel guilty for eating so well, the next day we will go dancing. Our great dancing teacher will teach us Salsa, Merengue, Pechanga and many other Latina dances. It’s always great fun!

The second week will start with a small tour of the Casco Viejo, and the following day we will see a documentary about bulls. To get to know Bilbao’s museums better on Wednesday we will visit the Guggenheim and on Thursday we will discover the Basque Museum.

The following week we will submerge ourselves completely in the Spanish culture. Monday we will visit Bilbao’s bullring, Tuesday we will sample a few excellent wines and on Friday go for pintxos.

The fourth week will be no less enjoyable. We will start by enjoying the views from atop Artxanda, the mountain lying next to Bilbao, and on Tuesday we will learn a bit about bullfighting by watching the film Manolete and on Thursday we will visit the Vizcaya Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Sight.

To get the final week off to a good start we have decided to invite our students to sample the famous Spanish delicacy chocolate con churros. As is custom, each Friday we will all meet for pintxos.

Just so you know we will always meet here at the school. Our motto is simple, study in the mornings and have fun in the afternoons!
