Wine tasting in Bilbao on Wednesday 11th January

This Wednesday, 11th January 2017, we have arranged another activity for our students and for all their friends that would like to accompany them. We have decided to host a wine tasting session here in our school in Bilbao.

The activity will begin at 19:00 and we will sample three red wines from Aragón. This time we will focus on one of the most interesting variety of grapes: garnacha. A brilliant grape for making wine that is earning praise daily and is the main grape used in the vineyards of Aragón.

These are the three wines that we will sample:

Alquez 2014, a wine from the reserves of Allanza de Garapiteros with the original name Calatayud. 100% made from garnacha grapes and all are more than 35 years old. A complex wine with hints of mocha and chocolate.

Aldeya 2015, a wine from the Aylés vineyard with the original name of Cariñena. 100% made from garnacha.

Aylés 2013, a half-body wine made 100% from garnacha with polished tannins and aging aromas.

So on 11th January we will wait for everyone to enjoy these three excellent wines. We will learn new words, terms and will practice our Spanish! It promises to be a great occasion.
