Spanish Courses and Partying in Bilbao: Nightlife

After spending day at the shops in Bilbao or after going to the beach (a great way to spend the afternoon with your friends!), Bilbao has yet more to offer:

You can enjoy each evening in bars which serve a speciality of the Basque Country: tapas and pinxos. Later, you can spend the night in one of the many bars and nightclubs of the city. There you will find good music and cocktails as well as a great atmosphere. It is the perfect opportunity to meet and make friends with people from all over the world. In fact, the population of Bilbao is very varied because many students come from different countries and it is easy to meet them and make friends here.

Each Thursday night the Erasmus students organise a party where many of the students of Instituto Hemingway go. The venue changes each week and entry is free before midnight (or 7 euros after).

The vast majority of the nightclubs in Bilbao are located in the centre of the city near Moyua square and the bars are mainly found in Casco Viejo. These places are very easy to access from the metro.

So if you come to Instituto Hemingway to study Spanish, remember that the nightlife in the city gives to you the opportunity to spend your time here well and to speak Spanish with the boys and girls of the city.
