Why did I elect to take “Curso de Profesores de Español ELE through del Instituto Hemingway
My maiden language is Spanish. I also can speak fluent English, German and Italian. I lived in USA 20 years and then moved to Germany. Over the years in USA, I was able to experience a growth in the use of Spanish across USA.
While in USA and now in Germany people have asked me to give them private classes of Spanish; even though I would have like to, I knew that I did not have the knowledge required to be able to teach Spanish as a second language. One thing is to speak a language and another is to be able to teach a language. I have always been interested to teach Spanish, I needed a school with good reputation where the hours of learning could be done around my working time. After a long research in the internet, I found Instituto Hemingway. Instituto Hemingway had several advantages. First, it is a school with excellent reviews. Also, the hours of study could easily accommodate my busy work schedule; one can take the course in a few months or take a much longer time. I elected to take the course over a longer period of time for a couple of reasons; one because of my busy schedule and also because I wanted to do additional reading and research about the different areas I learned during the course.
Any questions I had during the course were answered right away by my teacher Alfredo Orive. Every lesson made available to us, offered an extended amount of information. The library of the virtual class web site also offers an invaluable amount of resources. In addition, the virtual class web site offers multimedia resources, as well as the possibility to chat with other students.
I can now say that I posses the necessary knowledge required to teach Spanish, regardless of the student background, child or adult, or their individual needs.
It is with no doubt that I highly recommend Instituto Hemingway to those of you who are interested to become a Spanish teacher.
