Course for Spanish as a Foreign Language teachers
July 08, 2025
Daniela León

My Experience with the ELE Spanish Teacher Course

One of the greatest contributions has been acquiring knowledge about methodologies and the design of didactic units. Thanks to this course, I now know how to design dynamic and effective lessons, tailored to different student levels. Putting all this knowledge into practice will surely be an amazing experience—being able to carry out communicative activities that encourage real interaction among students and assess their progress objectively.

In addition, I have come to understand the importance of valuing cultural diversity in the classroom. Teaching Spanish is not just about transmitting a language, but also about being a bridge of knowledge between cultures—especially when referring to a language spoken in so many parts of the world. This is what makes Spanish such a fascinating language.

One of the aspects I’ve enjoyed most about this course has been its practical approach, as it allowed me to concretely understand how to put theory into practice. I feel it has given me much more confidence and security.

Finally, this course has motivated me to continue developing as a teacher and to keep learning. I feel much more prepared to face the challenges of teaching Spanish as a foreign language and, above all, I’m truly excited to keep sharing this language with people from all over the world.

Thank you and best regards,

Daniela León
