Spanish courses and young wine tasting: Bilbao, Monday 4 December 2017
Next Monday 4 December 2017 at 7pm we invite you to participate in a wine tasting that we have organized at the Institute Hemingway. Wine tasting is an activity for all students of Spanish courses and people interested in learning about the world of wine. If you are in Bilbao and you want to learn new things, do not hesitate and learn to taste with us.
On this occasion we will taste 3 red young wines from different origin denominations. We will have a Rioja wine based on Tempranillo, another from Costers del Segre and a Moravian wine based on Cabernet Sauvignon.
And to match the wines we will have a nougat tasting that is a typical Christmas sweet made with almonds and honey
These are the three wines that we are going to try:
Merdor Terminus Rioja 2015
A wine from Bodegas Terminus in Rioja Alavesa in Villabuena de Álava. Made with Tempranillo from the San Ginés farm, located at the limit of cultivation.
Peti Sao 2015 Mas Blanch i Jové is a winery that is perfectly integrated within the mountain, it wants to merge with the landscape, be a living part, that elaborate different wines.
In 2006 they created a small winery in the Pobla de Cérvoles (Lleida) where they produce quality wines under the denomination Costers del Segre.
The wine denotes aromas of red and black fruits, highlighting blackberries, strawberries and cherries with a hint of fig, subtle violet notes and a minty finish.
In the mouth it is round, spicy, balanced and with volume, presenting a soft and silky tannin and a fresh, long and elegant finish.
Winery Kapličky Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
Moravia is a region of Czech Republic that has exceptional wines. On this occasion we will try a wine from the Winery of the Family Winery Kapličky that was founded in 2005 and focuses on the production of quality wines from grapes grown in our own vineyards. Made with Cabernet Sauvign
