Christmas at Instituto Hemingway, open as usual

At Instituto Hemingway Spanish School we encourage students to visit Spain to experience the festive season and improve their Spanish language skills.


We would like to share with you the good news that we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after many months of sacrifice caused by the pandemic.

The Spanish government has announced that Spain will be among the first countries to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in January. This bodes well for the New Year 2021, as Spain will be among the first countries to be fully vaccinated and hence return to normality as fast as possible. As you probably know we have had some lockdowns in Spain but we reopened our School on June 8th and were allowed to resume full operations without restrictions since then. We at Instituto Hemingway have been welcoming students every week since then.

Christmas is a period that we love here at Instituto Hemingway and we specifically encourage students to come to Spain to experience the beautiful festive season and traditions we are well known for.

We DO NOT close for the holidays and lessons are held as usual during the Christmas week as well as in New Year's week. We only close on public holidays which are the 25th December and 1st January however lessons missed will be recovered anyway since students will get more lessons than they pay for.
