Wine tasting September 8, 2021 with the Spanish courses
Are you ready for another exciting wine tasting? On September 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. we will organize a new wine tasting for all students of the Spanish courses. You are all invited to participate
It is a white wine tasting where we will learn to appreciate different flavors of wines depending on the type of grape selected and the area where the wine is produced. One of them is the traditional txakoli that is produced near Bilbao
For this occasion we have chosen three very special white wines:
- Gorka Izaguirre Txakoli 2020:
Gorka Izaguirre 2020 is a txakoli that on the nose offers aromas reminiscent of fresh apples and linden flowers accompanied by herbaceous notes and a subtle touch of citrus. In the mouth, it is full of freshness with an excellent balance between fruit and acidity, and a delicious finish of light bitterness. An aromatic and full-bodied txakoli that surprises.
- Martín Codax Albarino 2020
View: Clean, bright, lemon yellow with greenish reflections.
Nose: Medium-high intensity with citrus notes of lime and grapefruit. Aromas of white pome fruit such as melon, pear and apple. Floral nuances (hawthorn, orange blossom) and a balsamic background.
Mouth: Fresh entry with a great passage through the palate. Unctuous, enveloping and persistent, with good balance and length. In the aftertaste, the notes of white and citrus fruit stand out.
- Matarromera. Verdejo about 2018
Excellent wine, with light touches of freshness, aging in lees gives it a lot of complexity. Slightly citrus aromas, quince. Very transparent light yellow color.
Don't think twice and participate in our new tasting.
It will be a perfect opportunity to learn more Spanish, learn more about wines and socialize with others.
We will wait for you here: -)
