New activity with Spanish courses: wine tasting on November 24, 2021
Next Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. we invite you to participate in a wine tasting that we have organized here at the Hemingway Institute. Wine tasting is an activity for all students of Spanish courses and people interested in learning about wine. If you are in Bilbao and you like to learn new things, do not hesitate and learn to taste with us.
This time we are going to taste 4 very different wines to appreciate differences between wine varieties and geographical areas. They are wines that our students have given us and that we are going to taste together.
The first two wines that we are going to taste are from the García Carrión winery. Pata Negra 2013 Tempranillo from Valdepeás and Pata Negra Passionate from Jumilla with Monastrel grape.
The third wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon from Faustino Rivero Ulecia's winery. Intense garnet color, with violet hues. Bright and clean. Intense garnet color, with violet tones. Bright and clean. And the fourth wine that we are going to taste is a French wine from Cote Roannaisse - Chateau de Champagny 2017. The objective of our tasting is to learn to distinguish different types of wine and above all it is an excellent opportunity to learn new vocabulary, many things about wine. So on November 8, 2021, we are waiting for you all to enjoy these three excellent wines.
