Our volunteer programmes and learning Spanish in Instituto Hemingway

Our volunteer programmes at Instituto Hemingway offers our Spanish students a unique opportunity to live and work in Spain and get to know the great Spanish culture by collaborating with social institutions and will bring them personal enrichment.

Through all of our diverse volunteer programmes you can contribute to society and maybe inspire yourself to replicate it in your own daily life in your home country. By volunterring not only will you help but you will also get to know Spanish people who you can practice your Spanish with and get to know more about the country's culture. Also you will be able to increase your professional and personal skills.

The programme is always open for anyone that is interested from students to those who are retired. We have a variety of programmes and therefore are sure that we have something that suits your personal and professional interests. During these programmes our volunteers are able to choose between our different accomodations; student residences, living with a family or in a shared flat.

Amongst our option you might be interested in voluterring with our environmental clean up such as going to beaches and ridding them of cans, bottles and plastic bags and anything that could affect our environment. Or maybe look after animals at an animal shelter and help by doing tasks that help these animals that live there; cleaning them, feeding them. Or do art therapy with people with disabilities and give them company while they express their feelings through art.

Of course we have more volunteer programmes and are all of equal importance, we really appreciate the work our volunteers do and the social contribution that they make and we hope that they also enjoy it and it is an experience that contributes to their personal or development, but above all that they are aware of these social causes and how important they are.
