Wine tasting Vertical

Wine Tasting On Wednesday, 31.01.2023, at 19:00 we held a vertical wine tasting here at the Hemingway Institute for our students. We invite you to participate and enjoy three different wines: A Cune Club Reserva 2018, a young Valtonar and a Vega Medina Crianza 2015. Since this wine tasting is characterized by a vertical structure, we will start with the youngest wine and end the evening with the oldest.

The wines are tasted in this order:

Valtoñar Joven

This wine is a young red with intense cherry red color with amorous nuances in a well-covered, fresh, soft and fruity form. It is made with grapes from vineyards located in Anguix, Olmedillo and Roa, different places in Castilla y Leon and also, the wine is clarified with egg white.

Vega Medina Crianza 2015

It is a wine from the winery Vineyards and Wineries LYNG of the Denomination of Origin of Rioja de Viura of vineyards with more than 30 years of transparent and fruity color, which has to be taken very cold. It is formed by varieties of Tempranillo, graciano and Garnacha grapes. For 12 months it remains in oak barrels and then rest bottled until it reaches his hands.

Cune Club Reserva 2018

With an excellent quality of the fruit, this wine assembles four varieties of traditional Rioja Alta grapes in an excellent set. The wine is made with grapes from the vineyards located on a calcareous clay soil with atlantic climate that give the wine that elegance, body and acidity.

This activity, like all the others, we offer monthly free of charge to all our students of the Hemingway Institute.
