Spain Conquers the Women’s Nations League
The Spanish women’s national football team achieved a memorable triumph by defeating Germany 3–0 in the final of the 2025 UEFA Women’s Nations League. The match took place at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, where more than 55,000 fans filled the stands to support “La Roja.”
From the very first minutes, Spain showed great character on the field, combining offensive play, constant pressure, and solid defense. Spain’s dominance was clear, and the team maintained control throughout the entire match.
Clàudia Pina was the standout player, scoring two goals in the 61st and 74th minutes that demonstrated her quality and determination, earning her the Player of the Match award. Between those goals, Vicky López extended the lead with a powerful cross-shot from the edge of the box.
With this victory, Spain secures its second consecutive Nations League title, after being crowned champions for the first time in 2024 against France, reaffirming its status as one of the strongest women’s teams in the world.
