Celebrate Christmas with our Crianza Red Wine Tasting – December 17, 2025

Instituto Hemingway invites you to a very special event to end the year on a high note. As Christmas approaches, this is a fantastic idea, not only to get inspired for your family dinners but also to toast with friends, taste three aged wines with character, and, most importantly, practice Spanish in a festive atmosphere!

Our event offers a super friendly and relaxed environment. It’s the perfect excuse to socialize with your classmates, lose the fear of speaking, and learn vocabulary about oak, spices, and ripe fruit aromas. Because learning Spanish with a glass of good wine in hand always makes the conversation flow better.

On this occasion, we will focus on Crianza wines (aged in oak barrels). The stars of the night will be:

Sommos Crianza (D.O. Somontano): We travel to the foot of the Pyrenees with this modern and elegant wine. A perfect blend highlighting fruity nuances mixed with wood. Pure sophistication!

Vega Medina Crianza (D.O.Ca Rioja): A classic that cannot be missing during the holidays. An authentic Rioja, where the Tempranillo grape gives us that perfect balance between red fruit and toasted touches. Tradition and quality.

Cabriola (D.O. Campo de Borja): We return to intensity with this wine of great personality. A display of strength and complexity, ideal for those looking for a full-bodied structure.
