Visit to see Carmen (a ballet by Antonio Gades) in Bilbao´s Arriaga theatre

All the students taking Spanish courses in Bilbao, along with various Spanish teachers from the Institute, will go to see the Flamenco ballet Carmen, in the Arriaga theatre, Bilbao. This takes place on Thursday 21st February 2008 at 9.30pm.

This reinterpretation of Carmen will be carried out by Antonio Gades´s company and includes music from Georges Bizet, Gades, Solera Freire, M.Penell, José Ortega Heredia/Federico García Lorca.

This performance will allow us to experience the best of Spanish dancing with elements of Flamenco: strength, passion, colour and beauty. This is a fantastic opportunity for students of Spanish to encounter an interesting representation of Spanish culture.
