Wine-tasting ( 28th of August 2014) and a Spanish course

As you already know at Instituto Hemingway each month we offer different cultural ,typically Spanish activities.  One of  the most famous and most successfully attended is the wine-tasting.

This coming 28th  August 2014 at 7:00 in the evening   our expert sommelier  Alfredo has organized a wine-tasting  for all the Spanish students at  Instituto Hemingway ; all of them are invited to  join us  at this activity  to be introduced to the world of Spanish wines  and their  shades.

On this occassion we will focus on  red wines; during the tasting we  will learn everything related to the production process  and we will finish with tasting and sampling techniques. It will be a way to learn new words in Spanish  and to put our sense of smell to the test  detecting the many  and varied aromas of the wine.

Here are the wines we are going to taste on Thursday the 28th of August:

-    Oro from the  Don Quijote Wine Company: a Syrah Oak  wine originating from la Mancha.

-    Vinha  da Malhada: an organic reserve wine from Portugal.

-    Castresana  III; a vintage wine from the Rioja region.

Our sommelier’s varied and select choice is going to allow you to train your nose to new aromas. Furthermore, your palate will have new sensations which  you can only enjoy in Spain.
