Special wine tasting at ¨Club Cocherito Bilbao

The students from our Spanish courses have the opportunity to go to a wine tasting in ¨Club Taurino Cocherito de Bilbao¨ on November 30th. This will be directed by Erviggio Adán, the marketing director and by wine makers Marcos Lojo and Isaac Fdez. Montana. The wines that we are going to taste are:

Marques de Tomares, Blanco Barrica, M T Excellence, Club Cocherit, Marqués de Tomares Crianza 2014, Cava Don Román and Sant Sadurní D Anoia.

It took place in La Rioja in year 1886 that the Montaña family started to produce wines with great finesse and with respect for the fruits of the earth. The bodega Marqués de Tomares, which belong to the premium Fincas group is a clear example.

The club was founded on November 20th 1910 in honor of the bullfighter Cástor Jaureguibeitia Ibarra ¨Cocherito de Bilbao¨. With his 107 years of tradition, these wine tastings are organized really special. You can enjoy the wines and also the atmosphere surrounded by wine lovers.

We will meet at Instituto Hemingway at 19:00. When you want to join us make sure that you confirm your attendance 24 hours in advance.
This wine tasting is part of the free cultural activities that are arranged by the school when the student takes a Spanish language course.
