New Activities for May with Spanish Courses!

We already have our plan ready for the cultural activities in May at our Spanish school in Bilbao. You can download it here or check it out on the activities calendar on our website www.institutohemingway.com/es. All the activities are free and have the aim for you to get to know other students and learn more about the culture and the city, and of course, improve your Spanish.

At the end of the month, our students are always keen to have a look at the new change of activities. So, if they still haven't had breakfast, now they have the chance to come with us on the 3rd May at 16:00 to the cereal café. After choosing from a huge range of cereal, we can all sit down here and have a great time with our friends.

In the hope that the temperature is going to improve, on the 7th May we have planned to go and eat ice-cream in the famous gelateria and nougat shop Eladio Iváñez. Since the mid 1900s, this gelateria has kept up the tradition of treating the Bilbao locals with a sweet tooth to delicious desserts. After this, Alfredo is going to invite us to the bullfighting club, Cocherito de Bilbao, where we will enjoy some wine and olive oil tasting. So don't forget to meet us at 19:00 at the Instituto for this!

On the 14th May we have a more relaxed, informal activity planned. Those who love a good bar, a cold beer and a fun game or two of snooker can join us at 17:00. Then this same week, on the 16th, we will take a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts where we will surely be captivated by both international and national artworks.

With a sunny day forecasted on the 21st, at 14:00 we will enjoy a picnic in Doña Casilda park. We think this will be a great opportunity to bring our students together in a beautiful, natural setting with some delicious food.

On the 30th we have a very special activity planned for the first 6 lucky people who sign up. These lucky few will be able to enjoy a sailboat trip along the river to Getxo.

Along with these activities, we will go to the cathedral in Bilbao, visit the Artxanda hill which has stunning views and go to Portugalete to visit its famous bridge, among many other fun visits. So we highly encourage you to come and practise your Spanish with us and make new friends, as with Spanish courses at the Instituto Hemingway, we will show you another side to learning Spanish!
