Wine tasting on September, 05th with the Spanish courses!

On September, 05th at 19:30, the students of the Spanish classes meet for a wine tasting and this time with young red wines . These red wines come from Portugal, Spain and as far as Australia. These three fruity wines will send us on a tasteful journey around the world.

Cabernet Merlot A.C. Byrne & co. – 2017

The Cabernet Merlot is produced in Australia in the region Margaret River. It is elaborated with the best Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes of the region. This wine has a rich and opulent taste of fruits of blackberry and plum and a fine savoury finish. It fits perfectly to lamb, veil, poultry, pasta and game meat (deer and venison).

Colheita Tinto Restrito – 2015

The Colheita Tinto is a red wine from Portugal. The wine is made from the noble varieties of the Alto Duero with the best grapes of the varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. It is a pomegranate coloured wine, with aromas of red fruits and a small toasted touch. It is of good structure, with elegant tannins and balanced acidity. This red wine was also awarded the silver plaque at the International Wine Awards in Spain in 2018. Colheite Tinto is ideal for game, lamb, poultry and beef dishes.

Betola The Cat Wine Pio del Ramo – 2017

The Betola The Cat Wine is an ecological wine from the Spanish region Jumanilla. This wine is elaborated with Monastrell and Syrah grapes of a selection from the youngest vineyards which are ideal for obtaining a fruity and young wine. It has an intense cherry red colour with high layer and violet undertones. The wine has an intense aroma of black fruit and notes of balsamic with an aftertaste of ripe fruits, roasted and mineral. It is perfect for all types of meat, rice, buffet sausage meat, stews and thick soup dishes.

We are awaiting you for this wine tasting at Instituto Hemingway on Thursday, September 05th. All the students of the Spanish courses are invited.
