Wine Tasting on the 23 March 2023 with our Spanish course
On Thursday, 23.03.2023, at 19:30 we are holding a Vertical Wine Tasting here at Instituto Hemingway for our students. We invite you to participate and enjoy three different wines: a Mildiani, a Valtoñar Joven and a Vega Medina Crianza 2015. Since this wine tasting is characterized by a vertical structure, we will start with the youngest wine and end the evening with the oldest.
The wine has a complex and rich bouquet; distinctive aromas characteristic of the class are followed by flavors of cherry, pomegranate and blackberry. In addition, notes of black pepper, bitter chocolate and tobacco, characteristic of aging in oak barrels, are perceived.
This wine is a young red wine with an intense cherry red color with purple hues in a well covered, fresh, smooth and fruity form. It is made with grapes from vineyards located in Anguix, Olmedillo and Roa, different places in Castilla y León and in addition, the wine is clarified with egg white.
VEGA MEDINA CRIANZA 2015
It is a wine from the winery Viñedos y Bodegas LYNG of the Rioja appellation of origin from Viura vines with more than 30 years of transparent color and fruity, which has to be drunk very cold. It is made from Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha grape varieties. It remains in oak barrels for 12 months and then rests bottled until it reaches your hands.
