Merry Christmas! In the festive spirit of the Christmas season, it is with great excitement that Instituto Hemingway is pleased to announce that there will be no classes on the 25th December as we celebrate Christmas.

We want all our students and staff members to enjoy a day full of joy and celebration in the company of their loved ones.

And to continue the festive spirit, this 26th December at 15:00, we will be heading together for a unique gastronomic experience in Spain with some delicious bocatas de jamón ibérico (Iberian ham sandwiches). These sandwiches, prepared with the exquisite Iberian ham, are a delight that will captivate any lover of good food. Iberian ham is known for its rich flavour and unique texture, making it a true culinary gem. In addition to Iberian ham, the sandwiches can be enjoyed in different varieties, such as the classic "bocatas de chorizo" (chorizo sandwich) or the tasty "bocadillo de queso manchego" (manchego cheese sandwich).

For this special occasion, we will be going to a well-known local establishment to sample these delicacies. This afternoon will be the perfect opportunity to bond, meet new friends and share laughs and good times with your classmates. Plus, in another exciting educational initiative, our group of Instituto Hemingway students are preparing to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of contemporary art with a visit to the renowned Guggenheim Museum Bilbao on 28th December 2023. Designed by renowned Canadian architect Frank O. Gehry, this museum located in the picturesque town of Bilbao, Spain, is an architectural gem that has become a leading cultural destination worldwide.

The visit to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao on 28 December offers our young art enthusiasts the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of contemporary art, exploring innovative works and stunning exhibitions in one of the world's leading cultural institutions.

Accompanied by teachers and supervisors, our students will have the opportunity to explore the diverse exhibitions housed in the museum.
