Ski trips from the language school in Bilbao

There is already snow in the Pyrenees and the ski resorts near Valdezcaray in La Rioja.

During the months of December, January and February we want to enjoy the snow season and travel to the resorts near the city of Bilbao. For this reason we have scheduled some ski trips, which are open to all students on Spanish courses as well as those doing internships.

The first two excursions will be during December, to the Valdezcaray ski resort in La Rioja, only an hour away from Bilbao. Though the resort is small, it has 22km of piste, which guarantees fun for beginners and experienced skiers alike.

However, there is no doubt that our star excursion will be a weekend in the Pyrenees, at the Vaquería Verte resort which, with 104km of piste, is considered to be one of the best ski resorts in Spain. As we did last year, we will leave Bilbao on the Friday after classes to stay in a beautiful apartment in the Valle de Arán. After an excitement-packed weekend we will return to Bilbao on the Sunday evening, ready to go back to class on the Monday.

The exact dates of the excursions will be announced later as they will depend on the state of the snow and the weather conditions.
