15th January: Instituto Hemingway Spanish school anniversary party

On the 15rd of this month we will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Instituto Hemingway. For this reason we will be organising a series of events for our students, both past and current.

As well as this, we will have a commemorative celebration on the 15th of January with a small party on our premises to which you are all invited. The celebration will start at 8pm with a welcome speech and we will reminisce and tell anecdotes about the experiences, both good and bad, that we have had throughout these years.

We hope to see many of our past students attending. People from many different countries who have studied Spanish with us and those with whom we have stayed in contact via facebook or by email.

The party will start at 8pm and there will be music, food, Rioja wine and great conversation about the last 11 years. There will also be presents given by us to those who attend. Later on we will go on to dance and enjoy the nightlife of Bilbao.

The week of the 11th to the 15th of January will be ‘Hemingway week’. Throughout this week we will have all sorts of exciting extra activities such as wine tasting, theatre visits, talks about travels, salsa and flamenco courses, cooking and surf courses and much more. All students linked to Instituto Hemingway are invited to take part.

And finally of course, thank you to all of you who have made it possible to celebrate the eleven anniversary of Instituto Hemingway, the first Spanish school in Bilbao.
