Flamenco and Spanish Courses- Instituto Hemingway’s next activity
On Monday 1st June 2009, Spanish students at Instituto Hemingway have the opportunity to experience a flamenco show at the Arriaga Theatre.
The Nueva Frontera del Cante de Jerez is bringing its flamenco tour to Bilbao, having recently received the prize for the Best Production at the International Festival of the Cante de las Minas. With this much-celebrated prize we now have an even greater excuse to enjoy flamenco.
This recent production, unites many young people who are involved in a very traditional form of flamenco. With directors such as Alfredo Benítz, Gonzalo López and José María Castaño and artists including Ezequiel Benítez, Moneito, Juanillorro, El Tolo, El Quni, Luis de Pacote, Manuel Valencia, Juan Manuel Moneo and Pepe del Morao.
We will meet at the School, located in Calle Bailén in Bilbao at 7.30pm to go to this spectacular show. After the performance, we continue the evening in the Casco Viejo, to talk about the show and relax in one of the pinxo bars. As usual, those interested in taking part should let us know so that we can buy the tickets.
