Surfing in Bilbao- Offer with Spanish Courses

Come to Bilbao- If you do a Spanish course for 5 weeks during May or June 2011, we will give you a 10 hour surfing course free of charge.It is no secret that the coast near to Bilbao has one of the best surfing beaches in the whole of northern Spain. Larrabasterra, Sopelana and of course, the famous waves of Mundaka, offer a great opportunity to keen surfers to practise.

At Instituto Hemingway, we encourage our Spanish students to practise this sport. After classes, amny students take the metro to one of the nearby beaches on coast near to Bilbao. At the beaches, we have our "bay-watchers" on stand-by to let us know what the waves are like and the general weather conditions, so that students know what to expect at the beach that day.

We believe that surfing is an demanding but exhilarating sport and for this reason we encourage all our students to check out the beaches. Also, for those who don`t already have the relevant equipment, we offer an equipment hire service, complete with changing rooms and showers, right next to the beach.

Remember the 10 hour surfing course which comes with this offer includes the surfing lessons, surf board hire and insurance.
