Spanish Lessons and free wine-tasting courses

We want you to get the most out of your Spanish course here in Bilbao. If you sign up for at least 4 weeks of classes during the month of June, we will invite you to visit the famous wine region of La Rioja, including a trip to one of the area’s most important wine cellars. We will visit the wine cellars of López de Heredia in Haro where we will sample the famous Tondonia, then we will stop off in Marqués del Riscal and finish the trip in Laguardia.

During the wine-tasting, we will learn the art of studying different wines, including being able to differentiate between the various shades and how to describe them. Also, we will endeavour to ‘teach our noses’ to analyse the different aromas in wine, learning to identify the different grapes used and to tell the difference between young and old wines.
