Mamma Mia: in Bilbao from 6th August with the Spanish courses

The famous musical Mamma Mia will be performed on stage here in Bilbao from 6th August. The Instituto Hemingway invites all the students to participate in this cultural activity as a part of the language program.

Although the title is in Italian, the action takes place in Greece and is based on the famous songs of the Swedish group ABBA. Sophie, a young girl, finds the diary of her mother where she reads the confessions about three men her mother has loved. Sophie is preparing to marry her fiancé and wishes her father would walk her down the aisle. However, she doesn’t know who her real father is. She is determined to find out and invites the three men from her mother’s past without telling her about it. The three possible fathers: an American architect, a British banker, and an Australian writer, arrive in Greece. Sophie’s feelings are very confused and she is unable to tell who her real father is.

The timeless songs of ABBA are the base of this enchanting story of love, laughter, and friendship. It will keep you involved in the action and you are certainly going to have a great time!
