Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language: demand for language assistants in universities 2010-2011
The Minister for Foreign Affairs has announced new places for foreign language teaching assistants in various universities abroad.
This is a marvellous opportunity for all those who have special training in Spanish teaching. The pre-requisites for those seeking a place vary from one university to another, but it remains be a great opportunity for teachers who specialise in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
One of the main aims of the programme for foreign language assistants is to encourage the study of Spanish language and culture in universities and centres of higher education abroad.
Through this programme, those who teach Spanish as a foreign language can take part in these teaching posts offered by the programme, which will provide them with personal and professional enrichment. This will benefit the foreign university as it will improve their standard of teaching – and will have a positive effect on the students who participate in the course’s, learning.
Our current participants and students who attend the course of teaching Spanish as a foreign language have the exciting opportunity to work abroad a experience a different culture.
