Party with our Spanish language students, on the occasion of our the 11th anniversary
On Friday 15th January, Institute Hemingway celebrated its 11th year, and, as last year, we had a party to mark the event in the large classroom. It was a really successful event, and a lot of fun was had by all. We were joined by many of our current Spanish language students, our host families and many of our friends.
Our interns, Katie Gibson, Lucy Hall and Harriet Smart, decorated the room with colourful bunting and fairy lights. There was a huge array of food and traditional Spanish tapas for everyone to try: chorizo, peppers, pickles, Spanish tortilla, crab, tuna… Furthermore, everyone enjoyed the drinks on offer: wine, beer, cava and other refreshments.
When the party came to an end in Instituto Hemingway, we all continued the mood and went to K2, a bar with a great atmosphere in Casco Viejo. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time there, and taking the opportunity to speak to some more people and make new friends. Afterwards, the more adventurous among us went on to a livelier bar to dance and continue the night.
Many thanks to everyone for coming, and we hope you had a great time, we certainly did. See you next time!
