Spanish Courses in Bilbao during Easter

Easter starts 26th March with Viernes de Pasión at 8:30pm. Easter is a cultural and traditional feature, characteristic of Spanish that attracts thousands of spectators. Easter has been celebrated since the foundation of the Vera Cruz Brotherhood and there are processions to pay tribute to the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus.

As part of the Spanish course at Instituto Hemingway, we encourage our students to take part in culture and there are visits to see the processions. The most important processions, which we go and see, are: Palm Sunday, Easter Monday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday:

Palm Sunday 28th March (12:00)
