Bilbao beats records of tourists with over 700,000 visitors

This past year 2010 Bilbao broke all records on tourists received, with more tourists than San Sebastián and Vitoria together.


This is very good news for all of us some way dedicated to tourism. Some of these tourists who came to stay in Bilbao where Spanish students who were with Instituto Hemingway, doing a Spanish course at any time of the year: They have come from France, England, United States of America, Brazil, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, etc. Our Spanish language students are always happy to stay in Bilbao, an easy city to walk, with beaches and mountains a stone’s throw, with excellent public transport and welcoming people and with an increasingly cosmopolitan which makes Bilbao feel like home.



Besides the main engines for the reception of tourists are BBK live music festival and Aste Nagusia Bilbao on holiday in August being the busiest month in tourists. In addition Bilbao is becoming an obligatory stop for cruise ships and luxury and Instituto Hemingway would like to welcome all those tourists with aloha Bilbao.
