Spanish teachers hired in Portugal

The Ministry for Education in Portugal has announced the availability of places for teachers of Spanish to work as supply teachers in secondary schools in the Spanish Institute “Giner de los Ríos”, as well as offering other teaching positions.

This is a brilliant opportunity for those people with Spanish as their specialist subject. The pre-requisites for the applicants will shortly be announced, but it is undoubtedly a great chance for those teachers who specialize in teaching Spanish to foreigners.

Covering the workload for vacant teaching positions is the primary motive behind this programme for supply teachers in the Spanish Institute “Giner de los Ríos” in Portugal.

Through this programme, teachers of Spanish as a foreign language are then able to compete for the teaching positions which are the subject of the forthcoming announcement. This will open doors for these teachers; for professional and personal enrichment, which will have a bearing on the improvement of the teaching quality at the Spanish Institute “Giner de los Ríos”, but, at the same time, will have an ultimately positive effect in the teaching of the Spanish language that they will be imparting to those students participating in these programmes.

Our current students and graduates of this course for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language have a highly interesting opportunity to work abroad, living in and experiencing another country.
