Spanish courses and vertical wine tasting in Bilbao

On Monday the 18th of July at 7pm, we will be hosting a “vertical” wine tasting in our school. All students from our Spanish school are invited to take part in this course, which is free of charge for everyone.

To taste wine “vertically” means to analyse and taste different strains of the same wine. In this case, it is advisable to start with the youngest wine and end with the oldest wine from the same grape. This Thursday we will be doing a “vertical” wine tasting with young red and reserve label wines.

During this small course, you will be able to learn not only about the vertical wine-tasting process, but also about the origin of wine, its production method, how to taste and present it as well as the different steps in the wine-tasting process: looking, smelling and tasting.

The objective of the evening is to learn how to distinguish the different aromas in relation to the ages of the wine.
