Spanish students in the US: An easier visa application process
The Spanish Foreign Ministry has decided to return to its previous policy of accepting state- issued good-conduct certificates, rather than the FBI certificates which had been necessary since the start of 2010.
This is great news, since the waiting period for state certificates is much shorter than for those issued by the FBI, meaning that the whole procedure can be completed much more quickly. This was one of the topics tackled by EDUESPAÑA in its interview with the General Director for Consular Affairs. We´re thrilled that this has turned out so well, facilitating student mobility and broadening access to Spanish education.
