Instituto Hemingway makes headlines, thanks to a ex-student of our Spanish school
Froylán R. Turcios Carías, an ex-student of our teacher training course and columnist for “La Tribuna”, one of the most important newspapers in Honduras, this week published an article about “The future of the Spanish language”.
In this article, he presents an interesting perspective on the future of our language, whose rapid expansion – as Froylán claims – “will promote social, cultural and political interchanges between Latin America and the rest of the world”. After a careful examination of the current state of the Spanish language, both in Spain and in Latin America, he encourages us to be ambassadors of both our language and our culture.
He also mentions Instituto Hemingway as one of the Spanish initiatives whose mission is exactly that which he is calling for: to spread the Spanish language and to invite all who wish to to immerse themselves in its world, to enjoy the culture by living it. This task is one to which the whole Instituto Hemingway team is passionately dedicated, and therefore, this small recognition is much appreciated.
We would like to send our affectionate thanks to Froylán, and we invite you all to continue enjoying Spanish with us.
