December’s programme of cultural activities, free for our Spanish students

Here at the Instituto, we’ve just put up this month’s timetable of cultural activities. Our students can sign up for these activities, completely free of charge, to complement their Spanish course. They are a great way to practice Spanish, get to know the other students and discover the city and local culture.

For the upcoming month of December, we have exciting activities planned, such as:

Our famous Pintxos Tour: A trip through Bilbao’s Casco Viejo (Old Quarter), in which you will find bars offering pintxos (bar snacks) to suit all tastes. This is a great way to spend a Friday night: getting to know Basque cuisine and swapping stories over a glass of txakoli.

The Guggenheim Museum: A visit to one of Bilbao’s must famous landmarks, a trip not to be missed if you haven’t already been. Even for those who have already visited Bilbao’s most famous museum, each visit is sure to bring new surprises. The impressive architecture of the Guggenheim, together with its interesting exhibitions attract a multitude of tourists every year.

Wine tasting: There’s no better way to discover the secrets of both red and white wine. Colour, smell, taste… discover a world of sensations!

All the above and much more: a visit to the San Mamés stadium, a trip up Mount Pagasarri and an excursion to San Sebastian.
