The sign-up period for DELE exams (Spanish as a Forign Language Diploma) begins
The DELE certificate is the official accreditation of competency in the Spanish language, and is awarded by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
In order to guarantee that its requirements be standardised, international and objective, the exams’ content is written according to the standards of the European Common Reference Framework (MCER), as set by the Council of Europe.
The official dates of the next DELE exam period are the 25th and 26th of May. However, these may vary slightly according to in which country and exam centre you wish to sit the exams; see the DELE webpage for more specific information.
The sign-up period for the exams starts today, Monday 27th, and will close on the 20th April.
Exams are available for the following levels:
Spanish Diploma Level A1 (Breakthrough)
Spanish Diploma Level A2 (Waystage)
Spanish Diploma Level B1 (Intermediate)
Spanish Diploma Level B1 (Threshold)
Spanish Diploma Level B2 (Vantage)
Spanish Diploma Level C1 (Effective Operational Efficiency)
Spanish Diploma Level C2 (Mastery)
