Official announcement of MAEC-AECID grants for Spanish citizens abroad: Spanish teachers

The Spanish Foreign Office has published an official announcement of MAEC-AECID grants available for Spanish citizens for the 2012-2013 academic year.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those who wish to continue their training in the didactics of second languages. The grant requirements vary between centres, but it is a great chance for teachers specialised in the didactics of Spanish as a Foreign Language. We’d like to encourage the graduates of our Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher training course to apply for these grants.


These grants are directed towards the realisation of a higher education course abroad, examples of which are proposed in the announcement: for instance university courses (post-grad, doctorate and post-doctorate), and other foreign centres and research organisations.

The application period is between 1st-28th March depending on the chosen progrmme, and we advise all those interested to consult the detailed information on the Foreign Office website, or directly in the Official Announcement.
