An SGEL workshop for our Spanish teachers

A workshop will be put on at Instituto Hemingway this coming Thursday 22nd at 1.30 by SGEL, a well-known publishing house in the field of Spanish language education.

During the workshop, a spokesperson from the publishing house will bring our Spanish teachers up to date with their new book “Nuevo advance” and with their latest extension materials.

As you know, SGEL is very experienced in the production of learning materials, with a long history of creating new methods and materials such as dictionaries and graduated reading books.
In the company’s own words, they are: “working to continue our tradition of editing books which can share the Hispanic language and culture, to try to supply the growing and varied demand which comes to us from every corner of the world.”

“Nuevo Avance” is a reworked version of the original “Avance” textbook, which brings the course more in line with the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages, and with the Instituto Cervantes Curriculum. It also boasts an updated format, with more illustrations and audio activities, as well as extra grammar activities.

At Instituto Hemingway, we make sure always to keep ourselves up to date with the latest methodological advances, materials and discoveries in the Spanish as a Foreign Language field. For this reason, and in order to give the best-quality education possible to our students, our teachers receive regular and continuous training.
