Learn Spanish on the move: Dancing in the street with our Spanish students!
Next Sunday, 29th April, they’ll be dancing in the streets in Bilbao.
On Sunday, Bilbao will celebrate the annual International Day of Dance in its own, extra-special way: with a live flashmob, dancing to Queen’s “Don’t stop me now”.
The initiative has been organised by the Bilbao City Council Department of Culture and Education, in collaboration with the Association of Professional Dancers of the Basque Country. It aims to bring the joy of dance to a wider audience.
The best part is that the event is completely free, and open to anyone who wants to join in. Previous dance experience is not necessary, as the event will kick off with an “express dance class” to teach the choreography to all assembled. However, if you want to rehearse a bit and wow with your moves on the day, you can find a video of the choreography at the following link: ADDE Dantza.
All of us at Instituto Hemingway are encouraging as many of our students as possible to come along, because it would be a great way to take part in the city’s cultural scene and (why not) meet new people.
And as for all of our other friends: why not join in? It could be an exciting alternative to lying in bed on Sunday morning!
